Gonna replace the factory hooks on my Strike King 8XD's. Gonna put on the KVD Mustad 2x1 triple grips. What size should I put on? The factory hooks are 1/0. 2/0 seems like the logical choice but not sure.

Try it with the 2/0's. If they don't foul up together, you're good to go. It's always best to use the biggest hooks you can get away with on crankbaits.
