Has anyone used the PowerPro Slick 8 braid?  I like the brown braid they have as it matches the water color a little better around my areas as opposed to the dark green.  I fish a lot of grassy lakes and usually when it's time to get out the punching gear and frog rods the grass is a greenish brown color.  I feel like this color would blend a little better.

I've heard good and bad, however I do not hear a lot about it or see anyone using it so it may not be the best.  Just curious if anyone has any info.

I have not used anything except the plain Jane power pro, but I've had zero issues with it except maybe a little color fade, but I normally use a leader so I'm not worried about that.

I use it. I think it works just fine. I don't care much about the color though. I don't believe that bass have the ability to reason to make the connection that line poses any danger.

It's the only braid I use, and I use the timber brown colour exclusively. I use 30lbs for walking topwater baits, 20lbs with a fluorocarbon leader for jerkbaits, and straight 65lbs for hollow body frogging and pitching/flipping. The water I fish is pretty clear unless I'm fishing slop but with that said even that has quite a bit of clarity to it.

I find that it does cast more easily than regular braid and it has resulted in me gaining casting distance with all the lures that I throw.

Well worth the price.

I have used Power Pro for years. Tried Power Pro Slick 8 two years ago and didn't like it. Went back to Power Pro.

It is fine!, but given your water color your not limited as all greens would also work fine
