Super User Popular Post N Florida Mike Posted July 4, 2017 Super User Popular Post Posted July 4, 2017 Got out at daybreak today. Lake was slick calm. Pulled out the booyah on my froggin rig. Nothing for 1/2 hr. I turned my head, and when I looked there had been a relatively small blow- up with no noise. Very subtle . As I pulled up to check I felt pressure moving to the right and then realized it was a heavy fish. Fish never tried to jump .It weighed 7.3 pounds. Other than the big fish,I caught 5 more on various worms. One was really cool because I caught it on a late 70s vintage 6 inch grape Mann's jelly worm. Day sha vu!!! 33 Quote

Super User Jar11591 Posted July 4, 2017 Super User Posted July 4, 2017 Heck of a fish! Seems like the big bass always have the smallest top water strikes. They just sip it in! Also gotta love those Pad Crashers! 1 Quote

Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted July 5, 2017 Global Moderator Posted July 5, 2017 My biggest frog bass so far ate the thing like a trout sips a dry fly. Frog just disappeared with barely a ripple. Wasn't quite a big as that monster though! 1 Quote

Super User N Florida Mike Posted July 5, 2017 Author Super User Posted July 5, 2017 Yeah. I caught my pb on a Jelly worm. It wouldn't disappoint me in the least to catch a new pb on the frog though. Quote
