If you arent using tungsten dropshot weights then you are missing opportunities to catch fish!

I have been using tungsten for a year and yesterday ran out of a certain size so switched to my leads.

Night and Day

I can feel every blade of grass, every stick, every rock with tungsten.  I feel nothing with lead.  If you cant feel a rock or a stick you won't be able to suspend your lure in/on cover as effectively triggering strikes.

If yall arent on the tungsten ds train you better hurry

I feel everything just fine with lead. Also i save a buttload on weights beings you end up looking so many of them. I do use Tungsten for everything else though.

sounds like your rod is not sensitive enough if you truely can't feel anything with lead.

15lb g-soul braid on ml tatula.

Big big difference between two metals.  Tungsten shouldn't be only used for pitchin and punching.

Love it on a swinging football head too.

I used to use all lead, and there are times I do notice a difference with tungsten. But I now throw almost only limestone drop shot sinkers. They are really sensitive and no "toxic lead" issues when I lose them. Plus they are way less expensive than tungsten.

craziest thing I've ever seen!

I've been using RockyBrook Sinkers for a few years now.  I use the drop shot weights and the swivel weights for my jika rigs and some Texas rigs where I don't want the weight pegged.  I also use the bullet weights for my C-rigs.  They have a completely different sound, obviously, and I catch a lot of fish with them.

I never would have thought, but it is a heck of an idea! I fish a quarry that's full of limestone, I wonder if I can make my own
