I'd like to apologize in advance if this topic is not in the right place.

It's the first time i saw a frog on my lake and i scared him with my worm.

I was throwing a weightless senko.

After he ran away, I nailed a nice bass and it was a quick catch and release, Sadly no picture because of it.

But look at this mess he wanted to go back into, The Vegetation is getting quite ridiculous, The lake used to be nice and clear "some spots now"

I'm not quite sure what kind of setup/lure i should be using for these kind of conditions for bass.

Any advice on what to use would be greatly appreciated.

I grew up fishing farm ponds that looked a lot like that. Vegetation isn't a bad thing, generally, for fish.  It just makes our jobs trickier.  Texas rigged worms, jig/craw, and weedless frogs are all excellent choices in this kind of stuff.

Might be able to work a weightless fluke rigged weedless (Zoom Super Fluke, Kaitec, Reaction Innovations) I'd start with something having a tapered nose as opposed to a blunt or flat nose). Another possibility might be one of the toads (Zoom Horny Toad, Rage, etc.) Lakes around here that  I fish look a lot like that, especially as summer progresses.

Nice and clear is good for you, for the bass and other inhabitants of the water its great.

Looks like you may have hit turnover.

Texas rigged plastics, hollow body frogs, and buzzing frogs are your best bet for now.

That is one of the best places for a frog.  Bring a big pole with some braid on it.

Yep....I see fun here.  Frogs....

I fished a pond that was worse then that a couple weeks ago  and had good success dragging a weightless craw across the top of that junk. Easier to catch then on a frog too

Another vote for the pad crasher junior, but I think you will have a hard time fishing it and setting the hook with your current set up.  If you have anything heavier powered than the light, use it instead.  Medium heavy preferably.

Could i pick up a decent Medium heavy at walmart?, If so i'll have to get one.

Id stay with the senko over the frog. Just t-rig the senko or get weedless hooks and o-rings and go wacky style. You can fish on top of the slop and when you come to an open pocket let it fall or just scoot on top to next pile and repeat. Many times the bass hitting through slop will make the frog go in the air and you miss, the senko is more likely to fall not be bouyant.
