I've had some issues with floro on a BC in the past but I didn't use a line conditioner.  Regardless of cost, what would you recommend for a 3 power Jig and Worm setup?

I have a 5 power pitchin' stick w/braid so this setup is a touch more finesse. Between my spinning setup and pitchin' stick.

I DON"T want to do braid with a leader so pls dont suggest that.  This rod will be primariy for senkos, T rigs, etc in clear water.  Most of the casting will be pitchin' and underhand style.

DX743C w/MGEtreme.

TIA!

Tatsu is the best you can buy, but I use Flouro on all my setups except for punching and use 12# Sniper for presentations in light to moderate cover and 20# Shooter in heavy, and very satisfied.

Tatsu is expensive for a reason, it's that good. Sniper and Shooter are a very close second.

I use P-Line Ultimate and it's great.

Honestly I would suggest P Line CXX in 10 pound test.  That line breaks at like 22 pounds. It has a good bit of memory so be aware.   Be sure to use a line conditioner like Reelsnot.

Take a look at a friend of mine's report on lines.  This is from his website.

I've switched from fluoro to copolymer in the last year, really enjoy the switch. I Have combos with 10-20lb p line cxx. Never have had any issues. Especially with the ultralow cost

I have settled on InvizX 15lb for jigs and plastics.  I have tried others (not the expensive others) and found this line to be a goody and economical medium.  The line is .013 in in diameter, which is the same as some other flouro 12 lb lines, very flexible and strong.  Rather than buy $27 200 yd spools all the time, I found a 1000yd spool on Amazon for $89 and that equates to a whopping savings..

I have a similar setup and use 12# Tatsu. I also didn't like braid with a leader on this rig because the braid would not stay tight when reeling in slack line using worms.  Then it would dig into itself on the drag and cause problems.  I put some line conditioner on during my last cast of the day each time I am out and do not have any issues with memory or manageability.  I have heard this is not necessary with Tatsu but when spending $35-$40 for 150yd spool, a few sprays of KVD is cheap and gives me peace of mind.

Floro on a baitcaster - want to give it another try

You know, if you are really into that sort of thing, the InterWeb® has made it a breeze to get an attractive woman clad in leather, whip in hand to your door with just a click..

Same. I only use fluro for cranking. P-Line Fluoroclear everything else besides frogs. Great, cheap line.

I use pline 100% in the blue and black box in 15 a lot and don't bother with line conditioner.  It and sniper are very close in how they handle but I get 250 yards so I get two full fills of line.  I would recommend 12 for you as I have that rod and its nice with ten or twelve.

Sooo I opted for Sunline FC Sniper in 14lb.  I'll let everyone know my thoughts after next week's trip.
