Hello Billy and Welcome to Bass Resource ~

I believe a 10lb mushroom anchor will work nicely.

I have moved to box anchors.

I have found that the baby and small hold better than anchors 3 times their size.

Additionally, you can get away with a MUCH shorter anchor line...2/1

I believe a few window sash weights would work very well.

Very cost effective too!

I've made my own in the past. Just a plastic milk jug, some concrete mix, and a large eye hook.

I just looked up a box anchor because I've never seen one.

Looks like they would work quite well!

Not  cheap date though.

i used the window weights for years. three duck taped together weigh over 20 lbs., wrap your rope around them, stows easily in smaller craft. perfect

Overtones put them on sale SEVERAL times a yr with free shipping. I get away with the baby unless it is blowing 15 mph
