Forgive me if this has already been asked but I'm looking to purchase some jig trailers and not sure what to get. I would like to stay under 4 dollars. Any recommendations? I'm very new to jig fishing and just purchased some Boo Jigs in a brownish color and a green pumpkin color.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

P.S Glenn your jig video is out standing!!

Under $4 the best one would probably be some Zoom Ultravibe Speed Craws, they typically sell for around $3.79 per pack.

Strike King Rage Craw is almost all you'll ever need for a most excellent jig trailer

Havoc Pit Boss and Pit Boss Jr's work well for me. They're $2/pack right now if you buy 5 at DSG.

Lately I've been loving the Netbait Paca craw for a jig trailer.

YUM Craw Chunk (they're under $4) but "I" prefer the SK Rage Craw (more pricey).

Yum Christie Craw's are on sale at Dicks Sporting Goods right now for $2 per pack (5 packs for $10).

Yum Christie Craw and Berkley Chigger Craws are my two mainstays. Berkley is usually more expensive, but I keep seeing them pop up for almost 50% off.

Uncle Josh #101 Spinning Frog - 1-7/8" x 3/4" Black/Blue... A smaller version of the Orginal Pork Frog for when fish require a little more finesse. Chnky, fleshy body with a beveled face and thin, flexible legs. In lighter colors, it looks like a frog…in darker colors, it looks like a crawfish. Especially effective for bass and northern pike. Ideal trailer for Jig "N"Pig combinations. $5.49

UJ pork bass trailers are out of production for about 2 years now. If you can find them the 101 frog it's a great trailer for compact size living rubber jigs like Skinny Bear.

When you do the math Strike King Rage jig trailers are the most expensive craw trailers on the market at .78 each, nearly 2X most other brands at .40 each.

$5.50 decided by 7 = .78

I dont buy jig trailers . I'll use something  I already have . Even a   plastic  worm   . Ive used half lizards , double tail grubs , half a stick worm ...Often its just a torn up piece of plastic on the bottom of the boat .Back in the day , before people started using pork frogs they used   pork eel's which was long and straight like a worm .

Where are you fishing in MD? I can say that the two best trailers for me are; Zoom Super Chunk Jr, and a 3" Berkeley Chigger craw both in green pumkin.

I like Yum Christie Craws and Zoom Super Chunks (regular and JR versions)

Don't overlook modified trailers as well. I cut my Strike King Caffeine Shads and Yum kill/warning shots in half and use the back ends as trailers from time to time.
