Super User Gundog Posted June 21, 2017 Super User Posted June 21, 2017 Amazing. That is a huge hawg. We need details. What did you get that monster on? Quote
BassB8Caster Posted June 22, 2017 Posted June 22, 2017 Yep.....thats a giant! Wow. Got to be a good fish story behind that beast Quote
Super User Angry John Posted June 22, 2017 Super User Posted June 22, 2017 You must be watching you tube videos as they say that every time they set the hook. Never a giant in that case. 8 pounds and over qualifies as a giant in my book and any fish over 10 can be stated as a fish of a lifetime. Where your from changes that as a 5 pounder smallie is a giant in my book. Everybody has there own scale though. By the way heck of a catch!!!! 1 Quote
stk44 Posted June 22, 2017 Posted June 22, 2017 I guess the word giant is relative.... you just beat the PA state record. That thing is a tank! Did you catch her skipping those docks? Quote
Doelman Posted June 22, 2017 Posted June 22, 2017 Nice fish! I hope you released it alive... but judging by the bathroom shot I'm kind of doubting it. 1 Quote
Super User Darren. Posted June 22, 2017 Super User Posted June 22, 2017 Holy guacamole! That's a BEAST! Ok, she's a GIANT! Quote

Yessir I appreciate your concern for this fish health. As we take a lot of pride in our fisheries. And overs here we go the extra mile to ensure the fish is as healthy as possible. The fish was either in a live well , or weigh bag (for a very short time while walking in and out of the marina) full of water. And revived in the tpwd holding tank. She was out of the water for maybe a minute max. I just wanted s certified weigh. We didn't have a scale or ruler in the boat. 10 Quote
