im in a slump, havent caught a fish over 4lbs since april. only 3 fish over 4. a 4.0 4.11 and a 6.3, all in the same week in april.  im struggling bad!!

Fish at night, you'll catch bigger fish :ph34r:. I'm fishing the same areas  as a few people I know and I'm wearing them out while they are struggling there during the day.

Also in a bit of a slump. My go-to is lipless and squarebill, and they just aren't interested. We're in the high 80s and low 90s, with off and on rain storms(seems to be raining every other day). 

 

Appears that slowing way down with Senkos is about my only option lately, but they aren't bringing in any real numbers or weight. 

 

Bank ridden this time of year is really beginning to suck.

i have been.  havent gotten out much. usually fish from sundown to sun up and a few different ponds

With the summers heavy rains, and water levels up, find spots with current.  Big fish will position themselves along the edges of this current in ambush mode.  Big fish have a hunger that will be satisfied with an easy meal.
