Altamaha River

Any recommended boat size for the river? I am looking for places to bas fish around St. Simons Island. I do have a Crestliner PT20 which is 20 ft long. Just wanted to make sure it wasn't too big for the river.

I put my Bass Cat in at Altamaha River Park.

 

Guys in my club put their boats...most of them 19-20 feet...with no problem.

 

You probably already know this, but be careful on the river, it can be tricky.

 

You should be fine.
