I still look at your posts and pronounce it as Ghoti as in the Gambino crime boss. Not sure is I can retrain my brain to read it Fish. No problem. Every person I've met on a Bass Resource RoadTrip has called me gotti, just like the gangster. It is, at the least, better than goatey. I heard that once, and that was enough. 5 Quote

wdp Posted June 22, 2017 Posted June 22, 2017 Welp, my user name is boring and unoriginal too. Just my 3 initials. Let me add tho, that @GrumpyOlPhartte has the best name I've seen so far since I joined the forums 8 months ago or so. I will go on to say that he seems anything but Grumpy & I've enjoyed reading his posts so far. Now as for the OlPhartte part, he'll have to answer that one himself as I've never met him. ? 18 hours ago, .ghoti. said: No problem. GrumpyOlPhartte Posted June 23, 2017 Posted June 23, 2017 @wdp: I'm not divulging my age, but my birth certificate IS written in Cuneiform. Heck, when I was born there was no history, just news. I can go on but I'm too modest to mention I hold the patent for dust. 5 Quote
shimmy Posted June 23, 2017 Posted June 23, 2017 Shimmy, Ol' shake'n'bake moves i put on defenders during my Division 1 football stomping days. When i didn't successfully shimmy, i got hurt since they were all 5 times my size. 5 Quote

Super User RoLo Posted June 23, 2017 Super User Posted June 23, 2017 'RoLo' is the duonym for 'Roger & Lois'. My wife has been my faithful & steadfast fishing companion since 1964. When we first got married, Lois unleashed a steady stream of questions about fishing. Today however, she commonly outfishes me; so I might have to rebrand to “LoRo” Roger 12 Quote
Super User WRB Posted June 23, 2017 Super User Posted June 23, 2017 WRB is the bass I have pursued all my life. I use Oldschool on other sites, wasn't available for BR and better defines who I am. Tom 4 Quote
PAbasser927 Posted June 23, 2017 Posted June 23, 2017 Mines pretty self explanatory - I'm a physician's assistant, I play bass guitar, and my birthday is 9-27... And the only part of that statement that is true is my birthday 2 Quote
Super User WIGuide Posted June 23, 2017 Super User Posted June 23, 2017 Mine is fairly self-explanatory, when I signed up here I was ready to take a break from my normal screen name that I use that was based on the nickname I received playing college basketball, mudgedaddy. I thought up something semi-original, but alas it was already claimed by someone here on BR. Since my creative side was already burnt out on the original attempt, I figured what the heck I live in Wisconsin and I'm a guide so let's combine that and WIguide was born. Creative genius at work... I know...I know 4 Quote
Lures'n'Liberty Posted June 23, 2017 Posted June 23, 2017 I chose my name, Lures 'n' Liberty, because I'm a proud and active member of the Libertarian party. In 2015, I was a candidate for Mayor of the City of Monongahela and became one of the most successful candidates in the Libertarian party. I served as chair of the 2016 Johnson/Weld Presidential campaign in my county, doing my part to Make America Sane Again. I am also the Vice Chair of the Washington County, PA Libertarian Party and sit as a representative on the LPPA Board. I am also a regional director on the Libertarian Party Radical Caucus endorsement committee, and my region includes PA, MD, NJ, NY and OH. I smile when I see .ghoti. post because TANSTAAFL means a lot to me, as it was the Libertarian Party's slogan at one time. That end covers the Liberty part and if you'd like to know more, feel free to check out my website at www.chaddesantis.com or search up Chad DeSantis, Libertarian on facebook (admins, I promise, I will avoid any further discussion of politics while reminding you that if you need a political advocate here in SWPA, I'm here). As far as the Lures part goes, well, those are the things that I keep losing on rocks, stumps, and branches. Quote
