So I caught a 25lb bag last Thursday in our club tourney on Fork. I caught all my fish on a Neko Rig on 14lb line. The line needed replaced and I forgot about it till today. So tomorrow is our tournament again and I don't have anywhere to pick up line. So I rigged up w 20lb Tatsu, the water is only a ft to a ft and a half visibility so I'm not worried about that. But I am thinking about how the heavier line will affect the action of the light bait. A 7" Reins worm with a nail weight, I forget the actual weight of the nail weight. What do you guys think?

I'm sure it will work in a pinch...

Surely someone in your club has some line they could lend you at the ramp in the morning. I know I keep a spool of 14lb. mono and 40lb. braid in my bag just in case something goes wrong out on the water during a tournament.

Yea, I have 16,12, 8lb fluoro 13lb mono in my bag but wasn't gonna take off the brand new 20lb Tatsu.

Too heavy.

:fart:

Only had one fish on that rig after catching almost 24lbs on it with the lighter line. So not sure if the line affected the bait or what. Just like the pros use light line on a dropshot because the lighter line puts more action in the bait. But I won't fish that rig on that heavy of a line again that's for sure lol. Still finished first in the co anglers though lol.
