Rodney Smith Posted June 10, 2017 Posted June 10, 2017 (edited) I primarily fish the 5/8 Live Target frogs and the Spro 65's. Does anyone fish the larger Livetarget 65T, Rapala Terminator, or the Spro King Daddy? Edited June 11, 2017 by Rodney Smith Added content Quote

Attila Posted June 10, 2017 Posted June 10, 2017 I was looking at them earlier, thing is, we have a lot of musky in the waters that we fish and while it might get some bigger bass I think it'd stand a better chance at getting bitten off. That said, it'd be interesting to fish with one. Quote
Super User Montanaro Posted June 10, 2017 Super User Posted June 10, 2017 Ive a king daddy. Only caught one bass on it...about a pound and a halfer. Dont throw it much though to be fair. Would rather throw normal frog or bait that will have a higher hook up ratio. King daddy is a lot of plastic. Quote
SFL BassHunter Posted June 10, 2017 Posted June 10, 2017 I've thrown the big live target a few times. I have a few of them in white and black, black and brown. I have yet to get a strike on one. They seem to weed out the smaller fish. So for me its one of those lures like a BIG swimbait. You're looking for a few strikes in a full day of fishing. But those few strikes will be big fish. Personally I prefer the medium sized frogs that attract fish of all sizes and still catch the bigger ones. I don't have the patience to use them super sized baits to get only a couple of strikes in the day. Quote
