Super User WIGuide Posted June 8, 2017 Super User Posted June 8, 2017 I'd opt for a St. Croix 6'8" M/XF in the Mojo or higher series for your wacky rigs. I personally use the LTB version and it's one heck of a stick. 3 Quote

Its so sexy that I cant take my hands off her... 2 Quote
Zeeter Posted June 9, 2017 Author Posted June 9, 2017 Going through my rods just now, I noticed that one of them is an IMX 892 which is medium power. Typically I want med-heavy. So that said, I am in the market for a new rod regardless of any wacky rig situation, so why not get an IMX PRO Heavy/Fast rod? I need something to get my jig out of the weeds when there is a 4#er on it. Seems like a heavy would be the way to go there. I can use the medium rod for my wacky rigging. Quote
Super User Further North Posted June 10, 2017 Super User Posted June 10, 2017 My primary Senko rig is a St. Croix Avid X 6' 8" medium extra fast ( AXC68MXF ) with an Abu Garcia LTX on it. The whole rig (Rod, reel and line) comes in at 9.55 oz. add in a hook and a Senko and it's just touching 10 oz. It'll throw Senkos Texas rigged (weightless) or wacky, no problem. I'm sure Loomis has a similar rod if that is your preference. Quote

I have a ton of TFO rods, casting, spinning and fly rods. Great rods at decent prices. Never found one I like for Senkos as much as my St. Croix though. 1 Quote
mwh33 Posted June 11, 2017 Posted June 11, 2017 I throw all my senkos, wacky and t-rigs, on a Megabass Super Destroyer phase III paired with a steez sv ltd (casting) unless I am trying to skip some docks. Then I sometimes will use a dobyns 703 dx paired with a shimano ci4 (spinning). Quote
