dszal Posted June 2, 2017 Posted June 2, 2017 I'm planning on teaching my little brothers to fish artificials. What are your favorite rigs/techniques for just hammering dinks- for those 100+ fish days. When I was really young I had a summer where I almost never got skunked throwing 4" watermelon yum dingers texas rigged weightless. I also threw the smallest size bomber fat A in fire tiger. Between those two lures, I used to catch those smaller bass like crazy. Recently, I caught my first ned rig bass. I hope to experiment with that rig more this summer. Quote
Super User N Florida Mike Posted June 2, 2017 Super User Posted June 2, 2017 Yum dingers are good.Yamamoto senkos are best. Also the smaller zoom flukes. Also a small spinnerbait. 1 Quote
kcdinkerz Posted June 2, 2017 Posted June 2, 2017 I catch dinks on just about every thing. This year it's been a robo worm Texas rigged with a split shot 2 foot above 1 Quote
wet_dream Posted June 2, 2017 Posted June 2, 2017 1) Keitech swimbaits (specifically the 4" easy shiner in white) have been hot for me, numbers-wise. 2) Stickbaits, senkos or yum dingers, is my second choice if I want to catch numbers. Quote
ib_of_the_damned Posted June 3, 2017 Posted June 3, 2017 Drop Shot w/ a Roboworm. Aaron's Magic, Oxblood Light Red Flake, or Morning Dawn. I have never had 100+ fish days... but I have been consistently pulling 1-2 pounders from the local city park lake on the Drop Shot. Or as mentioned above, Keitech swimbaits. I would suggest the 3.8" Fat in Ayu or Tennessee Shad, weightless. Quote
Super User scaleface Posted June 3, 2017 Super User Posted June 3, 2017 Fish in a place where there are a lot of dinks . 3 Quote

FCPhil Posted June 4, 2017 Posted June 4, 2017 Weightless rigged berkley Flat Dawg on a 4/0 Texposer hook. Wacky rigged finesse worm (maybe a trick worm or smaller stick bait.) Quote
Jimmyb819 Posted June 4, 2017 Posted June 4, 2017 Rooster tails are always a good bet. If I'm fishing a pond where I know there isn't much above 2-3lbs I love fishing small rooster tails on my UL rig. 2lber on the UL fights like a trophy fish every time! Weightless or wacky senkos, and Ned rigs are good choices too. Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted June 4, 2017 Global Moderator Posted June 4, 2017 Ned rig or a Wacky rig. Been catching a lot of fish on a homemade micro jig lately too. Quote
Fishin' Fool Posted June 4, 2017 Posted June 4, 2017 -Drop shot -Ned rig Doesn't get any better for numbers than these two techniques. Quote
Super User scaleface Posted June 4, 2017 Super User Posted June 4, 2017 When I'm having a 70 plus fish day its usually on a crankbait or a T-rig worm . Quote
