I find that the rods I use for JBs when I'm not tournament fishing work well when I'm tournament fishing JBs, but maybe it's just me.

There are a couple of great rods out there for jerkbaits under 100$:

Powell Inferno Jerkbait/Crank version (99$)

Lews speed stick TP1 (99$)

Dobyns fury its 110$ tho

The lews lacks in sensitivity.. but is a great rod. The inferno is very sensitive and light. The fury is a tad better than the inferno just because of how balanced it is.. If i had to choose I had only 100$ would go with the Inferno but if I had 10 extra dollars I would go with the Fury..

I use a 6' 8" M/F Ethos Micro guide rod a lot that is $80 normally, but can be found on sale for much less pretty often.
