MDbassin Posted May 30, 2017 Posted May 30, 2017 I was reading about adding salt to soft baits and how some people don't like it cause it affects the color, makes Baits more fragile etc. But I was wondering if anybody ever added sugar to there baits? I've seen in dicks before they had some Baits by field and stream called sugar stix (stick bait with sugar instead of salt) never bought them but was thinking about it today and was wondering what the community's thoughts were on sugar in baits instead of salt? Have you tried it? Just sounded like an interesting topic to get started Quote
faygo1979 Posted May 30, 2017 Posted May 30, 2017 I think this would make a mess if you are talking about cooking the sugar in with the plastic. Quote
Global Moderator 12poundbass Posted May 30, 2017 Global Moderator Posted May 30, 2017 Melting point of sugar is 366 degrees Fahrenheit. There's only one way to find out.... Quote
