dsqui Posted May 30, 2017 Posted May 30, 2017 I prefer the 4 inch version. Not sure what weight I use as far as the jig goes. I've tried a couple jigs but prefer the jackal flick shake jigs 2 Quote
Super User Munkin Posted May 30, 2017 Super User Posted May 30, 2017 4.8" worm with either a 1/16 or 3/32oz jighead. Allen 3 Quote

I have started making some from a modified Do-It mold that look promising. Using a size 1 or 1/0 5318 Owner lite wire hook with 17lb titanium leader wire as the weedguard. Allen 1 Quote
Fishin' Fool Posted May 30, 2017 Author Posted May 30, 2017 Thanks guys I wanted to get some line before the TW sale ended so I threw a few packs of flick shake worms and some jigheads on the order so I could get the free shipping. Very economical that way Quote
Super User J Francho Posted May 30, 2017 Super User Posted May 30, 2017 The Zappu heads are the ones I prefer, though we also use the standard Do-it mold with the Mustad hook. You just have to pay attention to the hook point. They roll easily. That's probably why @Munkin modified the mold to use a better hook. Quote
Super User Munkin Posted May 31, 2017 Super User Posted May 31, 2017 Here is one of the jigheads I made for flick shakes. Allen I had problems with the original Do-It molds where the hooks bent out and the wire guatds broke using a ml rod and a 6lb line. Allen Quote
Super User OkobojiEagle Posted June 1, 2017 Super User Posted June 1, 2017 I prefer to wacky rig them on a drop-shot rig. oe 1 Quote
