Kyhokie Posted May 29, 2017 Posted May 29, 2017 I like several of the colors, but I use sexy shad the most. Never used them for smallies though. 1 Quote
evilcatfish Posted May 29, 2017 Posted May 29, 2017 I've found most all the Shad type colors to work equally well. Pick a couple you like and go with it, you'll see results Quote

Super User fishballer06 Posted May 30, 2017 Super User Posted May 30, 2017 I just spent 10 days in Canada throwing Keitechs almost the whole time. I caught fish on every color I threw (probably 5-7 different colors). My point is, these baits are very lifelike in the water. Throw what you like and whats native to your lakes and they'll produce for you. There is no one super secret top producing color. 1 Quote
snake95 Posted May 30, 2017 Posted May 30, 2017 Bluegill flash and silver flash for me. The most consistent bait I use apart from Ned rigs with TRDs. Fishing mostly ponds; these colors have been effective in crystal-clear water in south Florida post-spawn and northern Ontario in fall transition, as well as in Georgia ponds, slightly to heavily stained, dead calm to very turbid, year-round. Fish them on top like a fast-moving plopper, and deadsticked like a dead live shiner. Basically, everywhere and anywhere. Quote

punch Posted May 30, 2017 Posted May 30, 2017 There's a color I've NOT caught fish with. I don't think it really matters too much. Quote
