Bass & Boilermakers Posted May 23, 2017 Posted May 23, 2017 I find the frozen dinosaur shaped nuggets work the best, but to each his own. Quote
Super User scaleface Posted May 23, 2017 Super User Posted May 23, 2017 He caught it at the marina . The bass probably is accustomed to eating stuff thrown in the water . Big bass like to hang out at the bait stations too where dead minnows get thrown in . 1 Quote
primetime Posted May 24, 2017 Posted May 24, 2017 Guys sometimes catch Big Bass on catfish baits at night. Kind of the same thing I guess. I would still say a Hot dog works better. Quote

Buckjunkie Posted May 24, 2017 Posted May 24, 2017 I prefer using Raising Cane's chicken fingers, just takes a bigger hook. Quote

Super User Gundog Posted May 24, 2017 Super User Posted May 24, 2017 Hearing this story makes me feel torn. As a Gravitationally-Challenged American I'm offended by this story. How dare that man waste a perfectly good chicken nugget to catch that fish. But as an angler I'm thinking maybe I'll get a 10 piece and head out to the lake and give them a shot. Maybe I should get a 20 piece just in case I eat more than the bass. 1 Quote
