Hot Rod Johnson Posted June 1, 2017 Posted June 1, 2017 On Your Way To Las Vegas Check Out..... Lake Havasu City Arizona on the Colorado River it has Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Striped Bass, Black Crappies, Rainbow Trout, Walleyes, and Catfish...Whether your preference is fishing from a boat, a shore or wading, anglers fishing Colorado River waters regularly take home their limit of fish. Being successful in catching fish takes planning and flexibility. If nothing else, witnessing the sunrise or sunset is reason enough to be on the water. Remember to keep only those fish you intend to have for dinner. Take an extra trash bag along to pick up garbage if the fishing is slow. I’ll see you on the river, though you better hurry ‘cause I’m getting old. http://www.desertusa.com/colorado/lakehavasu/du_lkhavasu.html Quote

The cool thing about going to the factory is you can hold and fiddle with basically any rod they make. Plus they sell their "B-stock" rods there. B-stock rods are still better than a lot of companies A stock. Most only have slight cosmetic flaws, and when I say slight I mean I've held A's and B's together and couldn't tell the difference. Most of the time it's something like a slightly duller spot in the clear or a guide is ever so slightly out of line. The best part about those is they are deeply discounted. They don't carry the same warranty as A-stock, but if a rod doesn't break within the first few fish catches it's not usually a manufacturer defect, it's user error. Quote
