Finally got my new PB bass this weekend! Fishing was tough and I decided to pick up my crankin stick. First cast out with it (Berkley Pitbull) and this big girl said she was hungry! 21.5" and 4.13lbs might not sound huge in some states, but for WI that's pretty dang good! I had been trying to beat my previous PB for 6 years, and just so happens two months after one of my best friends/fishing partner died it happened. I believe he had a hand in it.

We get spoiled here on BassResource.com seeing all these toads being caught. Then we go out and it's nothing but the usual 1 pounders we can catch all day up North.

Its a fish like you got that makes all those days worth it though. Congrats on your new PB!

Thanks guys! Even though my previous PB was 21" and I only beat it by a half inch, I'm pretty excited! I've already caught two 19" and this 21.5" now since my good friend Aaron has been gone. That's really rare around here. I have no doubt he had something to do with that, and has been standing by watching me fish like we always used to together. I dedicated this fishing year to him and it's already off to an amazing start! Below are some pictures of him.

Congrats! As a fellow Wisconsinite, I know how great those 20+ inchers are.

My PB is 22.5" and it weighed in at a little over 6 lbs. Yours does look a tad bigger than 4, as others have said. Hard to tell from pics tho.
