I am trying to find a highly skilled taxidermist to create a replica of a largemouth bass I caught this spring. I live in the Kansas City, MO area, and was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of high quality taxidermy? Thank you for the help in advance!

Really depends on what your preferences are and the artwork you are willing to pay for.

Basic LMB mount, mouth open facing left or right with see through gills, take a look at Lake Fork taxidermist.

You might contact Stehlings Taxidermy in Madison, Wisconsin, they're Amish craftsmen.

The boys took over their father's business, their dad was a grandmaster taxidermist.

The skin mounts of today incorporate plastic fins that last forever.

Many, many places to get a replica mount... I'd shop around , compare prices , look at their work and then make a decision.
