Dat_Bass Posted May 22, 2017 Posted May 22, 2017 I've recently been killing it on both brands of these swimbaits being reeled over mats of hydrilla. I've found the skinny dipper to be a lot more durable. However, the EZs have better kicking action displace more water. At a local store, Gamblers are about a dollar cheaper for the same amount of swimbaits, however, if they aren't as durable, is Reaction Innovations a better choice? I just want to see what yalls opinions are for these baits mainly reeled on top. Try to take into consideration price, durability, and the ability to entice big fish of course. Quote
Super User Dwight Hottle Posted May 22, 2017 Super User Posted May 22, 2017 I like them both but the big EZ seems to catch bigger fish while the dipper catches more. Quote
Super User RoLo Posted May 22, 2017 Super User Posted May 22, 2017 I agree with Dwight, but I catch more on a Big EZ because I almost never throw a Skinny Dipper Roger 2 Quote
Super User kickerfish1 Posted May 22, 2017 Super User Posted May 22, 2017 I have used both but primarily as swim jig trailers. My preference is actually the Little Dipper or baby brother of the Big Dipper. It isn't much of a pronounced side to side wag but rather fast little "kicks". When I want more of pronounced side to motion I use the Keitech products. Their softer bodies lend themselves to more wider side to swimming action though the durability is the only knock. Quote
Dypsis Posted May 22, 2017 Posted May 22, 2017 Fish catching ability is my number 1 factor on which baits I use. While price is important I don't have as much time to fish as I would like with 2 young boys and when I go out want to make the most of it. Quote
Global Moderator Mike L Posted May 22, 2017 Global Moderator Posted May 22, 2017 If I want more water displacement and Thump..Big EZ If I want more wiggle and faster action...Skinny Dipper Mike Quote
