Is This continuing? I did lots of fundraising for Wounded vet charity as an endurance athlete. I would be interested in this project.

I sure miss the ol' gang!  Looks like you all are in fine shape and caring for our next generation of soldiers... a salute to all involved!!!!!

WOW!

I can't tell you how honored and humbled I am to receive this.  Little things are big things and the timing couldn't be better given some medical issues that need tending to soon. This community is something special and my hat's off to those that do the heavy lifting and the elders that share their knowledge.  Thanks, from a gratefull Marine...

How does a veteran register for this awesome charity?  I served 26 years in OUR USAF with 13 combat tours and it just humbles me to see folks like you given your time, money, and heart to this cause.  I served all of the American people but it's folks like you all who carry on the core value of service before self.  Thank you all. ~Mike

Thank you for your service.

Recipients are recommended by our membership. Generally we are looking for active participants

that have been on the Forum for some time. We do not consider our Warrior Project a charity, but

simply recognition of our appreciation for those that have served. It is not a lottery and we do not

make these gifts for just joining  the site. Activity and longevity are important factors.

I would normally say" welcome aboard", but "wheels up" may be more appropriate.?

It's almost MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Just wanted to remind everyone that is interested in our Warrior Project that we are still

actively working on awarding custom rods to select members.  If there is a member you

would like to recommend, please send me a PM.

Also, our project is funded by Bass Resource members.  All of our volunteers work without

compensation so 100% of all donations go into the build. If you would like to contribute please

send me a note.

Thank you!

What you folks are doing for my fellow veterans is awesome... It's been years since I've been on this site and I just seen this thread... it put a big smile on my face to see you folks care so much about our military service!

Oh wow!! As a US Army combat veteran it makes me so happy to see you all doing this!! Fishing has helped me in so many ways since I got out of the army. So you all being able to help fellow soldiers and vets is amazing!

I'm a Vet. Granted, I'm a ticked off VET that likes NoOne but my secluded 15 acres of land. Granted, I did not read the thread in detail. But I KNOW WHAT Other ticked off Vets are going through. And I also know that it takes A LOT To get them to get help. How can I help this cause?

We have builders that donate their time and expertise (no compensation).

The cost for a custom rod is approximately $300.

I have a member that is interested in donating  half the cost of a custom build.

If you are interested in contributing the other half ($150) send me a PM.

I would love to have one. I tried a couple years ago I think. But idk what happened. I can give proof of my disabled Veteran status. But I don’t know where to begin.

ghoti (Gary Kilmartin) was our builder, Moderator and good friend. However, he was
