I don't know exactly when it happened but Lunker City finally allows us to buy direct on-line.  I imagine most don't care but I'm a fan and nobody around here carries more than a couple of their baits so I've been waiting (a long time) for this to happen.  Barlows had been my best source previously but now, finally, I can get exactly what I want!

Anybody else a Lunker City fan?

Actually Jeff, I've been ordering direct from Lunker City's online site for a good many years.

I've ordered their 6" Slug-goes, Fin-S-Fish and Shakers for pike fishing.

Like you, I love their stuff    :high-five:

I understand both of you guys as I too have ordered direct from them. The difference now is you don't need to use the order form and the codes and then call it in, now you can just add what you want and checkout. I too love a lot of Lunker City stuff, I've been using the 4.5" Slug-O since 1988, to me it is a different bait than a Fluke and one I prefer over the fluke. I also like their Trailer Bait, I use them as hair jig trailers and like Jeff, I too would use Barlow's tackle more than buying direct since it was more of a pain to do it that way but now it is easy.

Yeah, well I'm deaf so that "call it in" part was a no go for me.  Aside from the fact their baits are cool and effective they are also top quality!

Of course Just kidding.

A Slug-go accounted for 2 DD bass for me.

One as a Spinnerbait trailer & the other was riding on the back on a Scrounger.

I had huge success with their Fin-S assassins for panfish

and bass, as well as their little 1/16oz fin-s hook/jig. That

tiny little rig netted me some quality fish over the years,

including a 4# chain pickerel.

I've put stuff in the cart in the past year, but never ended

up buying. Tried out some of Bass Pro's knock-offs, but

they just weren't as good.

Purchases on hold for right now.

I prefer talking to someone alive at the other end...

It appears they discontinued my favorite smallie grub.  I'll have to call and ask them!

4 1/2 sluggo is what I usually tie on for folks just starting out who "have no luck with plastics", FinSFish makes a great subtle trailer for many lures and a 7" limetreuse or albino shaker=striped bass dinner.

Really, I have a pack of the 4.5" Sluggos and I can't get any action out of them at all, they seem like a stiffer senko.  What hooks should I be using?  I wanna say I had them on a 2/0 or 3/0 Owner twistlock.

I also have a pack of the SS Sluggos and while I have never caught a fish with them, they are so fun to fish that I keep trying.

Their not made to flutter like a senko. Just has an erratic movement when twiched and slowly falls at different angles. Think fluke like movement with a slender body style. Very good lure.
