Super User Darren. Posted May 16, 2017 Super User Posted May 16, 2017 Nice! Have you/do you fish for barra? I saw a show here in the US with Hank Parker (pro) fishing a stocked pond in Florida, I believe. Looked like a blast to fish them. 1 Quote

Caught a few of those myself. Never caught barramundi myself but ate a lot of those. Also King Mackerel is fun to catch and good eating fish. 16 hours ago, dirvin21 said: thought I'd post up some pics of some of my favorite fish species Eastern freshwater cod (very closely related to the more famous murray cod) Australian bass Bream The first fish is look so pretty and tasty. 1 Quote

Will have to take your word for it I did see several recipes for barra on a web site about the fish... King Mack! We caught a mess of those around 4 feet long back in the early 90's. Awesome fun for sure. Quote
Super User JustJames Posted May 17, 2017 Super User Posted May 17, 2017 Have you had red snapper? It similar to that white soft and very mild taste. The best way to cook is steam the whole fish skin and head intact of course ?(Asian way) in soy source or lemon juice. Quote
