What's the difference between the blue and red oils? What comes with what reels? What did the Steez come with (never ended up getting my Steez)? J-Dream? Current Daiwa reels?  Megabass reels? Thanks!

My steez came with the blue oil but I don't use it.  I use the lightning lube from boca.

How about the JDM models like the J-Dream and Megabass IP reels?

I've been told there is no difference other than color.

The difference between the red, blue, and clear tiny bottles of oil is the color. They are all the same low viscosity and meant for spool bearings. There's a chart on TT that has the viscosity of a lot of popular oils. The daiwa needle oiler is not the same as the small bottles.

I have some of each, and can detect no difference, other than color.
