Hey guys i was wondering if anyone knows where to bass fish near hampton nh I'm here for 2 months for work

I don't know how far you are willing to drive but Pawtuckaway Lake is pretty good and has both large and small mouth. Turkey Pond in concord, Nh is good as well as messabesic in Manchester.

I would start by trying the Lamprey River in Newmarket, near the Dreher - Durham Boat Company on 108. There are huge alwive spawns there in the spring so bass have the forage to get big. I also would try Mill Pond in Durham and you can fish your way up Oyster River that slowly flows into it.

Go to Jenness Beach! There is a pond called eel pond it has great spring bass right across from it. It is a top water to senko pond and has a great bite.

If you want to drive an hour or so please check out lake winnipesaukee. Incredible small mouth and the large mouth are the best in NH. Those are my two recommendations.

Please message me if you have any questions!

We are still pre-spawn at Squam, but not for long.

I grew up in Rye and remember my great uncle taking me to the eel pond for hornpout. It was also full of white perch. I had no idea there were bass in there. I have a picture from the early 1900's of farmers harvesting salt grass from the eel pond for their cows.
