SonOfaFish Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 Hey all, With my Depth Finder setup, I have about 10ft of excess length on the transducer cable. I usually just coil it up, tie wire wrap it and tuck it near the transom mount. My question: is there a correct/specific way to store the extra transducer cable?? I don't get interference now, but just wondering for better ideas. Thanks again, Quote
Guest JoshKeller Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 Just store it out of the way and out of harm. I wrapped mine up with a bread tie, and stored it where I ran all my wires. Quote
SonOfaFish Posted December 15, 2006 Author Posted December 15, 2006 Yea, I figured it might be as simple. Thanks for puttin up with the newbie questions. Quote
Super User Long Mike Posted December 15, 2006 Super User Posted December 15, 2006 I would suggest that you coil the cable in a figure 8 and then fold the 8 in half to make a circle. This will reduce the posibility of interference. Quote
