Many products on the market have warnings on the labels to protect the user and the seller.

Smoking may cause cancer, dispose of plastic bags so your baby does not play with,

use of this tool may cause injury if improperly used, ect , ect

You get the drift

I think steering wheels should have warnings on them too.

No matter the wheel application whether it be on a car, truck, boat or even a go cart. The dangers can be real.

"Touching  this wheel may cause rage, carelessness, high blood pressure, stroke, temporary insanity ,need for excessive speed, obesity ,laziness drowsiness or DEATH,if used improperly".

A large arrow, pointing to the signal indicator stalk, with the words, "USE THIS!" would be nice.

My new job has me out and about in public in big trucks. I have always wondered why the DOT has never made it mandatory to festoon the sides of these big trucks with warnings to the idiot drivers of the world.

Something like:

"WARNING: THIS TRUCK IS 10x's BIGGER THAN YOUR CAR AND WON'T HARDLY BEND THE BUMPER IF IT RUNS OVER YOU, BUT IT WILL TOTALLY DESTROY YOUR VEHICLE!!!!"

I put around 150-200 miles a day on my company vehicle and the idiots I see on a daily basis is mind blowing!

I sometimes wonder why I had a child almost 7 years ago with all the idiot drivers out there "by the way son for your safety you're not getting you license until 18! Not because of you but everyone else" I hope to god he doesn't turn out to be one of "them"

Lol they're getting more common where I live, you're spot on!

We have "Michigan U-turns" those confuse the heck out of everyone not from Michigan.

Something like, "warning, just because this car has some resemblance to that of a sports car does not make you a Nascar driver!" would be nice

The use of a turn signal in some areas is a sign of weakness which will then be preyed upon.

Then they won't mind when I put them into the wall.

Oh, don't get me wrong.  I detest aggressive drivers.

If at first you don't succeed ... please don't try to parallel park!

I had a thought the other day (just one).

What kind of chaos would there be if people had turn signals on but didn't turn as often as they turn without using one.

I for one, don't trust other drivers/vehicles, I have enough of a time controlling my own. I will even catch myself looking both ways crossing a one way street.

Basically the idea is to not make everyone stop, keep moving. If another car is in the circle adjust to come in behind them, if several cars you may have to stop. Once in the circle you have right of way, do not stop in the circle because someone else is approaching it. Stay in your lane as you go thru it, see so many people cutting the corners off and using both lanes.

That, or pull back one click when approaching oncoming traffic at night.

How about this..."Caution, only use for steering. Do not use wheel to steady cell phone. If used this way you void all warranties and are an idiot. Also will make all of your photos look fat." :D

You would think it would be obvious that cutting a truck off would be a bad idea, but soooo many people do it. I understand people don't want to be stuck behind the slow truck and all but jeez, people will almost break their neck to get around you, usually just to turn left a half mile ahead!

how about, this wheel wont cause a heart attack ,but it is a carrier of stress!
