Esoxfreak Posted May 13, 2017 Posted May 13, 2017 Silly question, Is that foil or leaf? If it's leaf im having issues with getting the leaf to adhere to the bait. Do you put a product down on the bait before you lay the leaf, or do you put it straight on the bait? I'm not putting anything down and it holds pretty well until I hit it with the airbrush even at super low psi. Quote

Crank Bait Nut Posted May 19, 2017 Author Posted May 19, 2017 Esoxfreak , After I know Where I'm Going To Lay The Foil (Leaf) I Use Createx Top Coat , Others Use Glue. I Take A Small Brush and Paint The Area The Foil Is Going , With A Very Thin Coat , Dry With Hair Dryer , I Just Want That Tacky Feel. Once I lay The Foil On The Pattern , I Use The Top Coat Again and Brush Very Lightly Over The Foil , The Top Coat Will Seal The Foil For You. When I'm Done I Use Epoxy , For My Final Clear Coat. Hope This Helps , Mike Munkin Those Trash Fish Are A Pain , Mike Quote
