JoeD320 Posted May 3, 2017 Posted May 3, 2017 So this weekend I'm looking to purchase a Lews tournament mb lfs. Closest store to me that has one is Dicks. Although sportsman outfitters website has it for 104 compared to dicks 139. I've never used this site before so I don't know if they maybe sell old models or it's some sketchy refurbished deal. Anyone have words of wisdom? All has anyone had luck with Dicks doing price matches for examples like this? ✌? Quote
frosty Posted May 3, 2017 Posted May 3, 2017 I doubt they will price match them, but you can always try. That places eBay reviews seem mostly positive. I guess you have to ask if saving $35 is worth the risk? Quote
Damn Yankee Posted May 3, 2017 Posted May 3, 2017 I have ordered reels from S.O no problem. Buy with confidence. I have 2 tournament mb's love them. Good luck! T Quote
Super User buzzed bait Posted May 4, 2017 Super User Posted May 4, 2017 they're 100% legit, pretty sure the guy's name is jamie that i've bought some rods and reels from. i'd buy from them vs. dick's, the guy was nothing but helpful when i purchased from him. Quote
Super User Choporoz Posted May 4, 2017 Super User Posted May 4, 2017 Another satisfied S.O. customer here. Quote
Super User rippin-lips Posted May 4, 2017 Super User Posted May 4, 2017 Bought at least 7 reels from them. Great place to deal with. Quote
SFL BassHunter Posted May 4, 2017 Posted May 4, 2017 Sportsmans outfitters is a reputable online store. I have purchased several items from them. 2 rods and a reel. The reel I got was the Lews Team Lite last year. Everyone was selling for over 200. They had it for 179. The reel hasn't had any issues, the packaging was perfect. I got 2 tatula rods recently, for 109 each. They came brand new, and in perfect condition. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from them. Also they ship fast. Quote
