Bass & Boilermakers Posted May 5, 2017 Posted May 5, 2017 White fluke hand painted in JJ's Magic to a sexy shad pattern. Bass can't seem to resist it, and I find it fun coloring the lures myself. 2 Quote

But honestly hate when I get the garlic smell on my hands and packing it around is a hassel . Its good but messy stuff ! If you insist that you like the garlic smell the spike it markers come in garlic but I opt for the crawfish scent. All kinds of colors and you can "paint" them on the spot. They say for soft plastics but they work on hardbaits too ! And it doesn't wash off! They are legit and I have all the colors. They can be had for like 1.99... Quote

Never used Spike It before as I have been a long time JJ's man. These markers sound way more convenient though, I'll have to give them a try. Thanks for the tip! 1 Quote
jr231 Posted May 5, 2017 Posted May 5, 2017 @Bass & Boilermakers not to hijack this thread . But this was a baby bass fluke with blue and chartreuse that I added and used this fluke for well over an hour and the dye was strong as ever. 1 Quote
