senko_77 Posted June 10, 2007 Posted June 10, 2007 Dont forget clear skirts. If the water your fishing is truly gin-clear, and clear skirt with some gold or silver glitter can be awesome and is as realistic as they come. Shad in clear water appear transparent, and when you rip a clear skirted spinnerbait over a bass's head, they dont get a great look at it...pure reaction strike. hope this helps and good luck! 1 Quote
Rattlinrogue Posted June 10, 2007 Posted June 10, 2007 I use a white skirt with tandem willowleaf blades of gold over silver. Quote

Super User scaleface Posted January 5, 2018 Super User Posted January 5, 2018 In clear water I like dull and baitfish looking colors . I'm not real picky I just choose something that is not bright . Blades I use whatever floats my boat . Gold and chrome blades work equally well . Quote

As for a spinnerbait presentation is the summer - how it's presented may be as much a consideration what it looks like. A-Jay Quote

Super User Raul Posted January 6, 2018 Super User Posted January 6, 2018 Man I thought I had stepped on one of my dog’s cakes when the smell of something rotting hit me, but nope, it was the bouquet of a friggin’ 10 YEAR OLD thread. 1 Quote
