Sandusky or Presque Isle Bay

I have a chance to fish either bay in the next couple weekends and was wondering which one might be best.

I've done a bit of research and kind of have a feel for each.

I'm a smallmouth addict so they're my main target. From my understanding,  each bay will see some smallies at this time of the year. 

I only have a small 14' Thundercraft with a 15 hp motor. So, I don't think I'll be braving the big lake. Maybe not even a bay if the wind is bad. 

Just wondering where my time would be best spent.
