Way north bass guy Posted November 20, 2022 Posted November 20, 2022 I’ve been hearing about getting the snowmobile out for a few days now, ever since it started to snow. Finally I couldn’t take it anymore, pulled the sled out of the barn this afternoon, started it up and said “go”! As you can see by the second pic, he went? 11 Quote

Don’t you call them snow machines up there, or is that a Western Canada/Alaska thing? Quote

Actually most people just call them sleds, but I’ve heard them called several things ( including rotten piece of ….) ? 3 Quote

I love snow, but then again ours is rarely deeper than 6 inches. That whole 3 feet of snow kind of thing would probably change my opinion 1 Quote
Global Moderator 12poundbass Posted November 25, 2022 Global Moderator Posted November 25, 2022 Dinner has been done since two, watched the Bills win, went out hunting, and now that I’m back home it’s time for my favorite time with the turkey…..making turkey salad! I make it every year, let it sit overnight, then eat leftovers and turkey salad sandwiches tomorrow while watching the high school football state championship games on TV. 4 Quote

Super User slonezp Posted November 26, 2022 Super User Posted November 26, 2022 The last hoorah! Drove around for an hour looking for open water. Been in the 50's all week but all my crappie spots still had ice. Drown minnows and worms for a couple hours with out even a nibble. 10 Quote
Way north bass guy Posted November 27, 2022 Posted November 27, 2022 Picked our first bowl of winter salad greens from the new greenhouse today. Several of the different lettuces are a bit slower growing, so in about 3 more weeks we’ll be able to fill this bowl with fresh greenery pretty much every single day throughout the winter. 8 Quote
