I got to tell y'all…I'm just shocked that the single molecule of solder that AC Delco put on these resistors lasted almost 18 years.

Yeah there's no telling how many lights are on it. It takes 4 or 5 days to put up and the wiring alone is impressive.

5 inches of snow here over the weekend in fargo nd border to minnesota.

Wife shoveled while i made breakfast and washed the dishes.

No i used our original snowblower a bobcat that dad bought brand new in 1975.

Still runs great but to operate it is like operating an old threshing machine from the 1930,s

Just got back from the Arroyo Colorado in far S. Texas - 4 nights of dock fishing, a bit of daytime kayaking.

Prevailing SE, highs in the low 80s, lows 65 - the lights drew finger mullet and scads of tiny glass minnows.

Lou fishing the sunset

Susie's monster buck speckled trout landed on XUL - it made two 50-yd runs

Yes sir it is! At least a few times a week they will come try to open my trash. Even though I have a bear proof can they never give up.

I’m glad we don’t have those here.

The coons somehow knock over our trash cans, and then are sure to make the biggest mess possible.

You know… I'm almost ashamed to admit that, when I wrote that post, I didn't really make a connection between how I wrote what I did and the fact that I was talking about electrical stuff.

But at least I can read the display on my HVAC controls again. lol

I need to make a kanban board for all the stuff I'm trying to fix on this car.

I'm sure! I was raised in the city during my youth so when I moved to Highlands county in the middle of nowhere all these animals in the neighborhoods were a huge shock to me. I had many meetings with the FWC about it and they basically told me to shut up and quit calling them!

They said we were building houses in their habitat and we had to learn to coexist with them. They told me to buy a very expensive bear-proof can which they would not reimburse me for of course, haha.

And of course I was warned not to harm them in any way or else!

I could understand if we were talking about a woodpecker. When you’ve got a man eater in your driveway, rules go out the window

I don't know.....a woodpecker who thinks the metal vent on your roof is a dead tree might be worse than a rabid bear

Nope, we don’t have moose.  Our deer and squirrels like to run across the road way at the last second though.
