He keeps saying “we’re better than the Lions”. They’re 3-2 on the season so far. 3 Quote
Bassin' Brad Posted October 10, 2021 Posted October 10, 2021 Found this the other day while visiting family in Oklahoma. I was crazy pumped when I found it. This might sound crazy but it was about like catching a 4-5 lb bass. 13 Quote
Global Moderator 12poundbass Posted October 10, 2021 Global Moderator Posted October 10, 2021 Doing a little packing yesterday in preparation for the upcoming move and Mrs. 12poundbass found this. I bought this for 6poundbass when he was still cooking in the oven. 14 Quote

Super User N Florida Mike Posted October 12, 2021 Super User Posted October 12, 2021 Got this snapper today. He wasnt happy. I dont think my nieghbor across the canal liked it much when I dumped the turtle across the road into the creek. She said WHY ? When I told her I was taking it to the creek… She would have really been upset had I chose to eat it. ? I didnt say anything when they cut down a tree that had been there all my life and shaded my property from the pm sun. ? and that they seem to put their barking dogs out every time I go out to fish and try to get some peace and quiet! So they are just going to have to get over the fact that there’s one less turtle in the lake… 6 Quote
Global Moderator 12poundbass Posted October 14, 2021 Global Moderator Posted October 14, 2021 Wednesday night lights. The boys and girl were rewarded with a last minute game and under the lights to boot! The game didn’t end with a win but they had fun tonight playing a night game. 10 Quote

CrankFate Posted October 17, 2021 Posted October 17, 2021 Leftovers. Filet Mignon with porcini mushroom au poivre cream sauce. I do steak like fishing rods. I get the good ribeyes all the time. Anything else is just a waste of money. So stuff like this is never on the menu. Since the city gave everyone up to $1,200 in food stamps per kid ? to make up for the missed school lunches during the lockdown, I broke with tradition. 4 Quote
Tim Kelly Posted October 17, 2021 Posted October 17, 2021 My favourite fishing picture, from Saturday morning. Short window of action over dawn, got a great pic of Serhii with a zander. 16 Quote

HaydenS Posted October 18, 2021 Posted October 18, 2021 (edited) Wisconsin, Summer 2020. Night of the Whopper Plopper. I backlashed at one point, and the lure went straight down and splashed in the water 2 feet from the boat. I was picking out the backlash and a dink came up and hit the lure. I kept picking out my backlash and the dink jumped out of the water. Those WP stock hooks held him until I got the backlash out and flipped him in the boat. Headed back next summer, and gonna do some fishing with @JWall14 in Illinois. Edited October 18, 2021 by HaydenS 2020* 10 Quote

Every time you walk in the field you see one. They’re all different colours too, depending on what kind of plants they are hanging around on. This guy was hanging onto the barn door today, waiting for a nice juicy wasp or some stable flys I guess. Here too 5 Quote

Super User J._Bricker Posted October 24, 2021 Super User Posted October 24, 2021 Why did the turkey cross the road? To catch up to his buddies already in the meridian. That’s Mauna Kea in the background. Unfortunately, I didn’t get any pictures of the wild goats and wild sheep grazing along the side of the highway…. 7 Quote
Super User islandbass Posted October 26, 2021 Super User Posted October 26, 2021 A typical fall day in the Pacific NW. This is a canal that connects Lake Washington and Lake Union. The image is misleading. It looks peaceful and calm but it was blustery and raining off and on. The rain stopped long enough for me to take the photo. Despite being well layered, I felt unusually cold and my hands felt frozen. The bridge you see in the distance is I-5. Following it to the right (as you face the bridge) takes you to Canada and to the left, Oregon, California and Mexico. 6 Quote
