Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted October 5, 2021 Global Moderator Posted October 5, 2021 I put new brakes on my tow vehicle, does that count as an upgrade? Not that it's done much towing since all it's done most of this year is haul a kayak. 3 1 Quote

New leaf-springs last fall, new brakes this spring...and I got the canoe out 3 times this season. Quote
Super User NYWayfarer Posted October 5, 2021 Super User Posted October 5, 2021 The windows at my office have a mirror finish on them. Birds fly into them and get stunned or worse, killed. A small bird slammed into my window yesterday and broke its wing. While I was looking at it on the ground a huge red-tailed hawk swooped down and made the bird his breakfast. Two minutes and all that was left was feathers. 9 Quote

Way north bass guy Posted October 9, 2021 Posted October 9, 2021 I can’t believe the number of praying mantises there are around our new place. Every time you walk in the field you see one. They’re all different colours too, depending on what kind of plants they are hanging around on. This guy was hanging onto the barn door today, waiting for a nice juicy wasp or some stable flys I guess. 11 Quote
