Haha!!! Lost the ring swimming in the river day 1 but I found it. Going to go with a rubber one I guess

I’m not sure that’s what they are called but definitely dunes in Michigan. We stayed in Frankfort , also visited the sleeping bear dunes

You're way north. Pretty close to Lake Menderchuck. Warren Dunes is what I refer to as Michigan Dunes is just north of the IN MI border

My now uncle has a place there, I believe in sawyer, MI. (Side note: I had 3 living uncles Thursday, on Friday  after the wedding I think I’ve got a couple dozen uncles)

And where are the “ giant brown bass at sunrise” photos? Sure was a nice day here as well, wish I could’ve been drop shotting instead of working but that boat won’t pay for itself.

Bottom was covered up with several massive schools of bait

but alas, not a single bass to be had for me that morning. (Friday)

I ran up on this lil guy during a nature walk today. I don’t know what kinda lizard it is but it is very pleasing to the eye. Similar camo to the Timber Ratllesnake.

Not the thing I wanted to see next to the toilet in the bathroom stall at the campsite I was staying in. Too late to abort the mission by the time I noticed it, and then the motion lights went out and left us in the darkness, hopefully my screams didn't wake any other campers up at 4am.

I can count on about two fingers the number of times in recent memory that we’ve had an honest to goodness tornado warning for our immediate area. All the emergency broadcasts were going off on our phones and tv here at about 6:00 tonight, but luckily by the time the worst part of the storm hit across Georgian Bay to us, it dwindled down to just a big thunderstorm. Makes you really feel for the folks in the heartland down south where these are a common occurrence.

Get on your porch and look for the 'Nader. That's the SOP when there's a warning here but we get several every year. I've only seen a couple in my life, one almost set down on top of my truck while I was driving and ended up going down the road right behind the way I had just came.
