I’ll be pushing up daisies the day I want to stop fishing for bass I didn't say stop. Your pic has downriggers. You have no clue what it's like to connect with a 25lb king, casting crankbaits or a spoon on a MHF bass rod, in a harbor during the spawn. Quote

Well you said it might make me want to stop, which ain’t happening. I don’t doubt it’s a hoot but different strokes for different folks. I’d hand the rod to a kid if I knew it had a silly salmon on it. Quote

I've done the mud shark thing. They'll bite pink yarn balled up on a hook. Lots of guys floss them though, some outright snag them. 29 minutes ago, HaydenS said: "Here kid, reel in the cat food"! They aren't even suitable for stray cats once they're dark and kyped up. Females are harvested if they're still fecund with eggs, then composted in the garden. The eggs make decent steelhead bait later in winter. We cure them in plain old kosher salt. 1 Quote

They sounds suitable for getting rid of stray cats, right? 1 Quote
Super User J Francho Posted September 8, 2021 Super User Posted September 8, 2021 No, I'm pretty sure you'll attract all sorts of animals, including stray cats if you don't bury them. 1 Quote

I’ve asked at least a dozen people where to fish for bass and they look at me like I’m crazy, I guess you need a boat for that. Maybe I can find a pike somewhere . Other than Lake Michigan I’ve yet to find any water deeper than my belt that I can cast to and Lake Michigan has 6 foot waves and a hail storm yesterday 1 Quote

Coconut water tastes like nothing you have ever drank, its tastes fantastic and refreshing with a sweet sparkling type of smooth bite to it like soda water mellowed out a bit. The stuff they sell in a can in the grocery stores is crap as its been pastuerized and all the nutrients have been destroyed and sugar and flavoring has been added, dont buy the hype its not real. My brother and I used to climb coconut trees when we were young and thirsty from the tropical heat. Nice to see someone made steps. My brother and I didn’t have that option, lol. Only hands and feet. We even opened them without a machete. The delicate sweetness and texture of young coconut like what you have there is nothing short of exquisite — and you are spot on about the coconut juice. Now for me, one other thing that comes close is eating a ripe, Philippine mango. Mangoes from other parts of the world don’t even come close, lol. First day targeting pink salmon in the Puget Sound. Evening time. The outing was a wash, and no one caught anything or even get a bite. The sunset that evening however, made the outing worth it. These pictures don’t do justice to the optics. The guy in the background was there to just take pictures. 12 Quote

These are the original oak 1" strip floors. They don't scratch very easily. I also keep their nails trimmed every other week. The back deck is another story. Hey play hard out back and it shows.
