I would submit that neither they nor the cats are reliable witnesses. According to the furkids, they're neglected on the regular and they've never once had a decent meal. Talking to the snake is probably the closest thing you'll get to the truth, but he sleeps during the day so it's hard to get an appointment. By the way, the dogs' subscription toybox is coming today (we get the Super Chewer box because they'd both bite through a brick if we let them). But it's only got two toys and a buttload of snacks in it, so they think I'm a skinflint and just enjoy watching them suffer while they sleep ON THEIR OWN COUCH at home SURROUNDED BY TOYS all day while I work and play with them and whatever. P.S. Morrígan says that she and her awful sister don't get enough attention on here, and I better fix that before I find something squishy in a shoe. 4 2 Quote

Neither of mine can catch anything; and, in any case, the closest they get to outside is the screen porch. Bean really thinks she's an amazing huntress, though. The only way she'll take a treat is if I wing it across the house so she can chase it down. 42 minutes ago, J Francho said: He's literally shedding on himself. I'm so glad neither of mine are big shedders. Lily sheds bad when she rides in my car, but I think that's stress shedding. She hates Corvette rides, and hunkers down in the passenger seat (Roger rides in the hatch) with her head on my right forearm the entire trip. Won't even look up until we get where we're going. Every trip, the passenger seat and me both are covered in yellow hair. 3 Quote

Super User J Francho Posted April 29, 2021 Super User Posted April 29, 2021 At least a dozen years ago, I took thousands of dollars worth of photographic gear into Fall creek in order to get a nice shot of Ithaca Falls. 11 Quote

The sky was a little weak, but other than replacing it in post, not much you can do about weather. I'm more of a realist and only editing the photo the way my eye caught it is my style. More like Ed Weston, less like Ansel Adams. 1 Quote

Many years ago I tried Zone photography, and it didn't work out too badly. Good way to get good depth of field, but shutter speed was usually too slow. For every plus, there's always some sort of minus. ? jj BTW - nice pic! 1 Quote
galyonj Posted April 30, 2021 Posted April 30, 2021 This is the look I got when I told them they should have more self-respect than to beg like street urchins. Plus there's a bonus mermaid titty in the background for y'all. 3 6 Quote

Way north bass guy Posted May 1, 2021 Posted May 1, 2021 Getting ready for our big move in exactly a month from now. Today I cleared out a couple storage sheds and moved that and all my small boats up to my work shop, then I’ll move it to the new place in June. Felt like I was moving a whole darn marina today ?. 9 1 Quote

Global Moderator TnRiver46 Posted May 3, 2021 Global Moderator Posted May 3, 2021 Have you ever gotten off work, took off your work boots, and then moments later regretted that decision?? 3 Quote
