That black and blue above my elbow is not a bruise.  It's pooling from my torn tricep muscle.  Feels great.

I'm meh. Apparently skating is out. Played drums for an hour or so, and that's fine. Can carry the baby, so I guess we're good. I did it in the bowl, skating so it makes sense that that hurts.

Ouch!!!!!! Since you’re a grandpa now, I think you have to lance that with a folding pocket knife and let the bad stuff out.

I'm not lancing anything, but give that ramp rash scab a week or so and I'll picking it off in one piece to mail into Thrasher for a free subscription.

It was in the 80s and 90s.  I don't think they could get away with it now.

Flying.  Something an ostrich can't do.

Disconnected Pec. Torn Bicep, Torn rotor cuff and bone spur.

Terrible post surgery pain and long rehab. This made my knee replacement feel like a "Walk in the park"

Mine was my own fault. Letting the dog out @ night without turning on a light and tripped over a darn lawn chair.

I found this on my hard drive today and it was a photo that I had forgotten about. This was 9 or 10 years ago and was the first fish my son ever caught - a tiny bass that he snagged through the eye.

It's hard to believe he was that small and that cute. Today, Matt is a 6' 2", 170 lb brooding teenager with a mop of hair that makes him look like one of The Beatles.

Bass fry that had to be from way too early spawn this year. Male is still nearby, he is much deeper down than the fry on the surface, 3-4’ down. Picture is from yesterday. Fry are less than an inch and a half. The picture is blurry from zoom in making them look bigger than they are.

They say it takes 50 frames to get a good photo.

If you take quick, mindless, frame-and-crop-later snaps of fish, that means you have to catch 50 fish to get a good photo.

Even more rare is getting a good shot with the sun in front of your camera lens.

But every now and then, everything falls into place.
