I bought the Lund with dad in mind and, not to be negative but, his fishing days are numbered. Since mom has passed, he doesn't really even want to fish and his health has turned south in the last month. There are new lives for me to impact. New memories to be made. The little guy in my arms and the hopes of a few more little guys/gals will be a new chapter in my book before God decides it's time for me to check out. 6 Quote

Super User slonezp Posted October 7, 2020 Super User Posted October 7, 2020 We used to tape the rocket engines to toy cars and trucks and run them down the street. Quote

Craziest thing we did - took a lower-stage engine, put it in a 'Scout', packed the body with black powder....when the engine shot that bit of 'glowing' propellant up to ignite the next stage....BOOM. Half a dozen, 15 year old, unsupervised boys....what do you THINK we were going to try? 1 3 Quote
Tim Kelly Posted October 7, 2020 Posted October 7, 2020 Impressive. We only got as far as filling our Airfix model planes with white spirit, setting light to them and flying them out of the bedroom window. Mind we did turn a toy cap gun into a functioning gun.... 2 Quote
JohnFromLisbon Posted October 8, 2020 Posted October 8, 2020 Ripley just met the latest member of the family. I wanted one of these things when they came out, I was in my teens and my mom said "There's no way I'm having that thing in the house.". So *adult me* went on eBay last week and got a decent cheap one from some guy in the UK. Super User A-Jay Posted October 8, 2020 Super User Posted October 8, 2020 One thing no one ever talks about being an adult is just how much time you debate yourself on keeping a cardboard box because it's, like, a really good box. A-Jay 5 2 Quote

Global Moderator 12poundbass Posted October 9, 2020 Global Moderator Posted October 9, 2020 I love fall (except the leaves in my yard). This is the view from my lawn mower tonight. I’ll be on the water at the same tomorrow, different lake though. 10 Quote
Global Moderator 12poundbass Posted October 10, 2020 Global Moderator Posted October 10, 2020 With the wind gassing almost 30mph we decided launching the boat wasn’t a good idea, so we decided to try some bridge fishing for smallmouth. Here’s the we didn’t catch a dang thing picture. ? 8 1 Quote
Guitarfish Posted October 10, 2020 Posted October 10, 2020 The Delta is magic wherever you go. My latest boat refurbish is so I can anchor up and wake up to fishing. 1 Quote
