We saw 3-4 other dogs at the ramp and I was nervous but she didn’t get mad at them. My fiancé saw them coming when we taxied into the ramp and hooked the leash to the choke chain, that usually calms her down quite a bit. @12poundbass, would you believe that dog’s mother was pure bred pyranese? She was an oops baby That’s crazy! She doesn’t appear to have a single trace of a GP on her. Quote

Father undetermined haha. Her tail is usually curled upward when she’s standing, that’s about the only resemblance I notice Quote

Super User slonezp Posted September 7, 2020 Super User Posted September 7, 2020 The only way he could cast past the weeds was to do a little wading. I'm proud of him. Had his first fish casualty today. The perch must have died from stress. It wasn't foul hooked and wasn't out of the water that long. He put the fish in the lake and it was lying on its side. He spent about 5 minutes trying to right it. The fish took off like a bat out of hell and went belly up on the surface. He was begging me to take it home and eat it for dinner. I told him it was too small to clean and the birds or turtles will eat it for dinner. 11 Quote

Way north bass guy Posted September 19, 2020 Posted September 19, 2020 A sure sign of the change of seasons around here. Stacked 8 cords this afternoon with another 4 coming tomorrow. Guess we’re all ready for winter now ( physically, not mentally though). 6 1 Quote
Global Moderator 12poundbass Posted September 19, 2020 Global Moderator Posted September 19, 2020 6poundbass has found himself a few new friends. They just showed up on our shore, my guess is someone dropped them off at the inlet. Our neighbor said they’ve been around for a couple weeks now. 6 Quote
