Watermelons are starting to grow. This is a Sugar Baby so likely the only fruit this vine will produce, I will guard it with my life if necessary.

Last night we had the sun and moon at exact same heights on either side of us, was a pleasant evening on the lake for sure.

Walking back to the truck with my youngest last week when momma and baby popped out of the trees and walked by, less than 10 yards away at one point.

Well after a month of messing with the thing, Lake made the announcement tonight was the night, he wanted to do the string to the doorknob trick with his loose tooth. I was pretty shocked, didn't think he'd go through with it. Used some 12lb braid and he barely hesitated when I told him to slam the door and it popped out real easy. He was almost as proud as I was. It was a big deal for him losing his first one.

I tried that when I was his age. Got some strong cotton and made a slip loop. Put it round the tooth and slammed the door. The cotton slipped up over the tooth and caught round the bit of flesh that holds the tooth to your mouth. There was blood and pain! Good on lake for not making my mistake! ?

Tresa and myself do what grandparents do in that we spoil our grandchildren. The boys play sports and are sportsman. I can personally guarantee they will never have a want with regards to fishing. They are funny and good little people, I love having them visit.

The little girl came along and the only change is there is now different toys in GiGi and Poppy's toy box. lol The boys are rough and tumble and she's got her own little soft personality! Tresa(wife) has bought more clothes in the year this little one has been on this Earth than I have in five years. Anyway, I can make her laugh by being goofy and while I know this will be relatively short lived I will take advantage of the time frame given.

At little  Emma's birthday party a few weeks ago I was acting a fool and Tresa got this shot. Made my day!
