Global Moderator 12poundbass Posted December 3, 2019 Global Moderator Posted December 3, 2019 The older I get the less tolerant I am of winter, however I still can’t deny the beauty winter can bring. We got some freezing rain Sunday morning that switched to 4 inches of heavy wet snow that resulted in the snow covering the trees. Right out of a Thomas Kinkade painting. 8 Quote
Way north bass guy Posted December 7, 2019 Posted December 7, 2019 The view from my “office” today. It’s pretty, but I sure do wish it was a lot greener. 11 Quote
Global Moderator 12poundbass Posted December 8, 2019 Global Moderator Posted December 8, 2019 This 430,000 square foot building went up in smoke last night. Ten fire departments responded. The fire will continue for another couple days. Last week there was a building that was over 120 years old that burned down. Our little towns aren’t used to this kind of action. 2 2 2 Quote

My oldest granddaughter's Christmas program night. She plays the violin in the junior high orchestra. It was fantastic. Both middle schools came together with the bands and choirs and over 3000 folks showed up. Olivia and Papa. 5 Quote

I'd rather watch reruns of the tv shows I grew up on than the shows they are putting out today. 3 Quote

I have no idea why I pay for it - never even watch it. It's so bad. Rant Over. A-Jay 1 1 Quote

A-Jay I could count on one hand how many channels get watched at our house too. There’s a channel callEd METV, they play old school shows. Last Sunday night there wasn’t crap on TV. I came upon this channel and the three of us watched a couple episodes of the Flintstones! My son (9) was glued to the tv, he didn’t know what to think. He said he liked it, we told him that’s what we watched growing up. I looked at the show info and saw it was from the 60’s. I never knew it was that old. Three words, Hong Kong Phooey 1 Quote
