Funny that you caught that and it's true, he's not supposed to where them. I asked him about that at the end of the game and he said he just forgot to take it off after his at bat the inning before. He thought he was getting pulled and was going to play the field.

The next pitcher had to take off an arm sleeve. Go figure.

I noticed something tiny like that but my wife rearranged the living room and I didn’t notice for days. Go figure. ?

Ok I concede it’s not that bad. Decorations added, new area rugs here or there, a hair cut have been missed a time or two.

Hard to pick just one shot from my vacation to Arizona - Lol. Never saw a single standing body of water, but it's some really pretty country out there. Too hot to the south for me, but we hung out in Flagstaff at an elevation of nearly 7,000 ft. all week and the weather was ideal.

Well, it’s finally here! Tomorrow is our bass opener around here, we’re all packed up and ready to fly in the morning. Gonna take the 9 year old to a lake we had a ton of fun on last year, probably mostly throwing frogs in the pads for largemouth, but I’m sure there will be some bedding fish to check out as well, due to this ridiculously miserable, cool spring we’ve had. Either way, the sun will be out and we’ll be chasing some bass.

You have a 4 month soft water season? That sucks

It’s not that bad. Soft water usually starts in April, and there is great fishing for pretty much every species of freshwater fish you could ask for here, and if I really wanted to, I could head about 3 hours to where there’s year round open bass seasons. Plenty to keep the rods bent until bass season opens around here, and due to the short season, we have some of the finest bass fishing you could find. Most days, there’s hardly another fishing boat to be seen on the water.

Finally the weather cooperated and I was able to get Mrs. 12poundbass out on the G3. We tried one of our small state land lakes. I was a little worried about pulling it out because of the sandy launch, but it was came out just fine. And yes I’m posting this because I got skunked. ?

The Mrs. got 3 dinks.

So far every trip I've had has been like that - either skunked or dinks.

BTW: If it was just you and the missus...where'd you leave half-dozen?

He was out on our lake fishing. Friday is usually ‘date night’ for the Mrs and I, Saturday or Sunday are when 6poundbass and I go out.

I was out today. Bite was almost all black and blue. Wacky rig was very productive. Jigs and swimjigs came in second. Had a bunch of hits on topwater, but never connected.

I’m going out tomorrow on our lake before the rain.

I’m not out to catch fish. I go out for the experience, if I catch a fish it’s just a bonus. ?

Went to the drive in my parents, wife, and boys to see Toy Story 4. It was a good time, great weather, and it's nice because the kids can move around a little and don't have to be completely silent the whole time to avoid drawing attention.

They allow the pitcher to wear a batting glove, or was the ump asleep at the wheel? Back in my day we weren’t allowed to if we were pitching.

He did it again this past weekend, forgot to take his batting glove off. The ump got him this time...:D

Funny story about that guy. When the video first came out years ago a local radio morning show that’s syndicated across the country (Free Beer and Hotwings) sent their producer from Grand Rapids,Mi to California in a $800 POS minivan to pick this guy up. He agreed and they rode around for a few days. It was pretty funny, the guy has burnt himself out on the cabbage that’s for sure.
